with the alpha you will be fine with the 40 series... i have the 5 cyl. so i spent the extra $50 for the flowmaster 50 and i love it. even the installer was impressed with how it makes that 5 cyl sound like a small v8/big v6. but for the price you can't beat a flowmaster 40

jemche, alot of guys/gals run the 40 series and it really does sound excellent...

HOWEVER, I noticed on flowmasters website http://www.flowmastermufflers.com/index.php?cat=1 that the 10 series is pretty much a 40 series only stainless steel... being in Maryland... I vote for the 10 series... than come out to Rausch Creek with us in April so I can hear how it sounds in person

Default Part number?

Can someone give a part number for the 40 or 50 series for the H3? Flowmasters site is useless, not even listing the H3 in the search parameters...

Thanks

Were not talking about an OEM fit, but if Im not mistaken the stock exhaust is 2.5" OD and there for any muffler shop can do the install...

How about the offroad series, any thoughts on that? IIRC, it's a 40 series wrapped in diamond plate for extra strength/protection when wheeling.
