Default FIRST TRIP IN MY HUMMER 3

I love it. I rode about 800 miles this weekend in my new Hummer 3. Its great. I rode alone from Long Island to Annapolis, MD and back. Used Navigation and played my XM radio all the way. The moon roof was super. It was a beautiful 75 degree sunny day. The 2007 had plenty of juice. I was cruising at 75 mph and passing cars with new problem. I still have not been able to attach photos. It says they are too large. I have a black beauty Lux. with Adventure series Tires. What a ride. Helen

Sounds like you had a good time, hope to see pictures soon. How many times did you have to fill up? I'll be driving out to Beckly, WV in June nice to hear it was a comfortable ride.

Having taken some long trips also, I can agree, the H3 is a pleasure to drive. Total comfort, and the 3.7 has enough kick.

I got about 15 to 16 mile per gal.on highway. But its only 1 1/2 weeks old. I expect it to get better. I talked to a guy that has a 2006 and he got 21 on the highway with a full car load up to New England. I felt the 2007 had a lot more zip than the 2006 I test drove last summer.I was happy to hear the 2007 added 22 horsepower. I was passing cars in and out like mad. I drive fast and furious. I had no problem with visibility changing lanes and I am only 5' 2". Since I added the Adventure Series tires...33" of rubber on beautiful 16" chrome rims...you feel a little bounce. But not a big deal. I loved the ride and I know my tires or lookers.
