Finally Done!!

Well got the carpet in today, and got it all installed. Was a little bit of a pain in the ass, but the final results were worth it. Just to answer some questions in case anyone ever needs to do this:

1. The carpet has the jute and padding as well as the mat hooks attached from the factory.
2. No additional sound deadening material is needed. the factory sound deadening is a composite mat welded to each floorpan from the factory.
3. Additional sound deadening could be installed(though about this) but it would be a really tight fit, and I'm not sure there would be clearance(carpet is formed to ridges in floor pan.
4. It doesn't look like it at first, but you DO have to loosen the rear seat (upright portion) to slide carpet under brackets.

here are some links to pics of truck being buried, interior gutted, and installed carpet.

I also want to thank everyone for their advise through this ordeal. And a HUGE thanks to Gene (GMpartsdude) for hooking me up with the carpet and all your help as well.
Now everyone pray that the CEL is no big deal!! Taking her in tomorrow.

That's the way a Hummer is supposed to look...except for the being stuck part. Finished project looks great, nice job. Hopefully the electrical is no big deal or at least covered under warranty if it is. By the way you missed a little mud on the pedal.

Just my opinion, but I would have gone with black carpet. It would have complimented the 2-tone look very well. Also, I'd be finding a P.D.R. guy to get that big dent out of your roof.

Good job.......did you do this on your own? Or did you have someone "Professional Help"https://www.hummerforums.com/micons/m6.gif
