lol are there actual mods under $50? |
window vent visors or window tint
or i bought one of those Daystar cubbies that go on your dash for like $30. Its kinda useful or silver stars or some other good light bulb or K&N air filter Im all out of under $50 unless you count switching diffs or tranny to synthetic oil |
hanging tree shaped airfreshner.... $2.00 i think the tax i paid on my chrome locking gas cap wuz less than 50. i made brackets to lower my steps so the're useful for abt 35 and 20 hours of hard labor, lets see what else, |
-I made a CAI intake with parts from O'Reilleys for about $50.
-I am thinking of tinting the front two windows to match the back end for around $10 for some film (unless I can scrounge big enough scraps from the garage to make it a free install) -I like the Spectre gauze air filter cuz it's about $30 and flows air from the sides and front too (and has a nice chrome end cap) -Some heavy duty battery terminals are nice and less than $50. -I took the nerf bars off and that was cost-free (except for having to listen to the wife complain now) -The fog lights on with high beams mod costs about a buck for a diode -A Uniden Pro520XL CB can be found for $35 on Amazon (might even find it w/antenna on for $50) to get you started. -A T-Bar crank gets you a lift for free (if you do your own front end alignment) -Convex stick-on mirrors for the blind spots cost about $5 and are greatly appreciated! I'm sure there is more, but those are the things I've done or looked into. |
No question......my wired, FM modulator, so I can use my MP3 player!! $45!!:D
|
I replaced factory horn with a dual horn system (same as my VW R-32)
They are much louder and under your required $50.00 For such a formidable truck the stock horn gets no ones attention or respect. |
Fire extinguisher and on board toilet paper roll, they need not be used in conjunction with eachother. One can save your life, the other can save your pants. :D
|
Under $50:
- I had my rear view mirror moved as far up as possible to increase the overall view out of the windshield. ($15) - Torsion Bar crank (free unless you have to buy the socket or wrench and you will need an alignment after and that will cost more than $50) - Daystar Dashstar (30 something dollars) - Painting your wheels (Cost: Paint, Primer, sandpaper and time) - Changing the position of the rear wiper from 3:00 to 2:00 (FREE) - Fire extinguisher ($25 bought 2 one front, one rear) - First Aid Kit ($5-$40 depending on the kit) |
