I purchased it when I bought mine a month ago... Now mine is covered up to 103,000. As long as I continue to utilize the dealers that honor the warranties, I think it is well worth it. I think that most of the dealers that have any honor that will honor the warranties, are the Cadillac dealers. I think they care about their image enough because they are such a high end dealer. But Capitol Cadillac is more than alright in my book...
I think it was 1,500.00. Something major goes wrong it will pay for itself 2 times over or more. Usually on stuff I don't do the extended warranties, but with a vehicle or other big ticket items I think its worth it.
I got the GM warranty, no joke unless the part has failed totally or is dripping fluid the warranty company won't authorize the fix. I bought mine for $2500 with a $50 deductable and I am covered for an additional 50k or 4 years. I can't recall the details at this moment. Is it worth it, YES in my opinion because the BCM went and that was around $700 also, but now the engine has developed an oil leak and I'm told it may be oil or the water pump, and it's only wet on the engine block not dripping. It took alot out of me not to get pissed.
YES! Bought mine when bought my Hank 2 years ago with 49,000 mi. extended it another 40,000mi. So thankful i bought it! Mine you can take to any Hummer dealer (there is only one here in Portland, OR which is a Cadillac/Hummer dealer) I paid 2200 for it with a $0 deductible. I got the gold package which pretty much covers everything but a massage! haha! Thank God I bought it.. because since then, I've had my radiator replaced and rear axle. Both those alone have cost over the warranty. A little afraid after my warranty expires. But, hopefully ALL the "expensive" fixes are done! DO IT!!!
Indeed do it. Mine is 0 deductible also. I bought mine from a Cadillac dealer that was a Hummer dealer... No problems with them so far. I had a problem with the rear wipers not working nor the pump, took it to them and they fixed it, but said the wanted to make sure it was right so they ordered the whole new assembly and put it in. From what I hear all of the good places that honor the warranties are mostly Cadillac dealerships. But it is well worth it if something major goes wrong
