I have a 2007 H3 coming up on 40,000 miles. I was thinking of getting an extended warranty, does anyone know if there are some good reasonble extended warranties out there instead of getting the GM one which could run as much as $2000.00.

 

I would go for the GM warranty. Most of the aftermarket warranty companies look for any excuse to get out of paying for a claim.

 

^What he said. Most aftermarket warranties wont cover offroading damage. GM will in a heartbeat.

 

I have found that GM won't cover almost everything unless it is stock. plus the GM warranty is just like the regular warranty only extended and you have to pay somewhat. It's really a choice, plus I have never run into any issues at all using the GM warranty. Had to use it three times already

 

Well the difference is, since HUMMER is advertised and marketed as an offroading brand, they have to warranty things that happened offroading.

Now, certain dealerships may be more stingy that others; some may never look at your truck if you have a tune on it, whereas some dealerships will actually crank the torsion bars for you and wish you good luck!
