exhaust for my stock H2
I have a 2005 completely stock h2, I have around $500 and am looking to deepen the roar of my truck and give it that really deep nice sound during acceleration and start up. What type of exhaust should I get that's in my budget? Or should I just get a header? If so what type? Will be getting a K&N air filter shortly after. Thanks.
P.S. I'm also looking for a 10000-12000lb winch to mount in a cradle in my 2in receiver in the front, are traveler, superwinch, and smittybuilt good brands for their prices? How would you rank them? |
Welcome.
BEFORE you post anything, READ what is on the board. Thsi thread was MOVED from the Drivetrain Area where it says: "This section is an archive of older posts, please post new questions in the specific model section. Thank you! " Please do not post in that section again. Thank you. |
go to borla .com and look in discontinued section/closeout. You can purchase a genuine gm performance exhaust made by borla . This is the complete catback duel rear outs for 339 i believe. No tips are included. I just purchased one and it totaled 437 shipped with 2 tips no tax just shipping. I did not order h2 tips but went with a less expensive tip they were closing out. If you do some searching for gm performance exhaust clips you will be able to hear the h2 sound clips

I LOVE my Flow-Master! But, like badss98 said listen to some sound clips & that will help! GL!

You can find a local shop to do a Flowmaster and 3" tail pipe for much less.
Me personally I don't care for Borla there system are just to raspy especially with the cats removed you'll sound more like an old trash truck. I had the a Borla cat-back on my Lt1 Z28, LS1 vette & LS1 WS6 T/A, Yuck (if we had the little emoji throwing up I would place one here lol) |
Hey dennis , your hearing must have changed since you had borla exhaust on 3 different cars. time changes everything lol
