So when I turned the new-to-me H3 over this morning in sub zero temps and went back inside to... well not freeze I saw their is nice sized plume of exhaust smoke coming from just in front of the rear axle. Any suggestions for a new cat-back? I do NOT want anything loud, but a few extra ponies or MPG would be great.

 

I would check the leak out first, because being so cold out it just might need some bolts tightend. Also I have found that there is an exhaust wrap with some white goup that works really good. Just a thought until winter passes, then I would go for a newer exhaust. I believe magnaflow makes a catback system. I looked into a dual tail pipe muffler from gm and it costs about $1000, I believe the original was $800 not sure on that price. Someone on youtube put a magnaflow on their H3 and videotaped it, so try doing a search there first, there was a thread a while back here about the noise level, some people liked it, some didn't
