Engine Warning + AC off
 
Dear Hummer friends,

Trouble with my brandnew Hummer H3 ,

since today "Engine Warning " light and in the Display the words "AC Off ".

any help ??

Sounds like it was overheating. Was the temp gauge in the normal range?

everything in normal range, drives as before

Did it not go in "limp" mode and not allow you to accelerate?
If you are sure it did not overheat sounds like a sensor problem. See your dealer.
If it displays that and shuts down the ac and goes in limp mode that is to protect the engine. It will shut down some cylinders from firing and only pump air to cool it down.
Better get it checked under warranty.

Hi,

the car did not go into "Limp" mode, everything seems normal.

I think i got he conclusion:

the car is equipped with a auxiliary heating system, if that thing

is turned on in winter approximatly 30 min prior starting, the sensors get

false readings,

the problem ist that the engine warning keeps on glowing, even if the

situation is cold again.

i got the problem that you talking about. can you say what could it be?
