Unplugged the left actuator and the air stayed full cold regardless of the temperature setting.

Unplugging the right actuator had no effect on the problem.

So either the left actuator, the a/c control or calibration.

There is mention of calibrating the actuators in the shop manual. But not a single word at all as to how to calibrate. I really don't care for the shop manuals being put out today. Those from the 60's and 70's were far superior manuals.

BTW: the washer problem was two fold. First, the rear nozzle was plugged. Second, the hoses were swapped front/rear. Correctly hooking up the hoses and unplugging the nozzle took care of the washer problem.

A/C problem solved. Replaced a/c control ($225 online + 15 minutes of my time). Made sure all three controls in the counterclockwise-most position. Unplugged a/c control fuse for a minute or so then reinstalled it. Started 'er up. All three yellow lights on the a/c control blinked for about 20 seconds (calibration cycle started automatically). Voila. Working perfectly.

We had the same issue on our 2006 H3. We took it to the dealer and the A/C control unit was replaced. Cover under warranty at the time.

Tex, Where'd you get the a/c control? I need one, having the exact same problem.

Thanks

Any of you guys try just pulling the A/C control fuse before getting the new module to see if that helps?
