sounds like a connection, like HOW you connected the wires to the new connectors. the volts drop to zero, then the contact makes again, for a while. is it a squees connection? is it tight, solid, are wire strands being squeesed. i cant spel squeese! |
It has been working again today fine. No problems.
I'll recheck connections but they are tight, clean and coated to keep from corroding. I'm starting to wonder if the starter and or connections at starter are ti@s up. |
if it did it once/twice and you did nothing,,,it will do it again. no self induced fixes. denial aint a fix.
|
Ok. Lol! Denial was certainly not where I was heading. That's not our style. Ha ha.
Just making a plan of attack. Strategy if you will. Chris |
Well today gf's 06 h3 had the electrical gremlin again.
Much more pronounced and made the center temperature control reset all lights flashing clock to 12:00. Took a bit but finally started. Got home lifted hood and went at it. Cleaned cable ends. Dismantled cables and battery box. Dropped armor and checked cables. Dvm was used for test's and mixed up some baking soda. Took it to orielleys to have em test battery and starter/alternator. Wasn't to confident with dude doing test but he did say it passed. This is an interesting one. Everything is tight clean and functioning. Alt... 14.49v Bat.....12.64v Starter....passed test Chris |
