Hello, Im interested in doing the diesel conversion on my 2006 H2 Hummer SUT. I want to know if there is anyone who knows all the parts that will have to be changed and parts that are needed. I have the 6.6L Duramax diesel engine with the allison tranny available aswell as the computer and wiring harness. I also have the transfer case in order of making it a 4X4. If there is someone who has done this swap, please let me know exactly what is involved. I really want to do this project and want to know what I need to get this job done. Thanks.

PM Magnum Offroad. He does lots of the conversions. You might PM Hummech also. Not sure if he has done the conversion in an H2.

 

how many guy are doing these?? I have been thinking a lot about this lately, still very undecided.

 

Not sure but my older brother has even talked to a few people about doing it to his H2. Think he is leaning toward just doing the 2x4x conversion.

 

The last time I looked there was 3 Diesel conversions of H2's. On one of them I swear the tail pipe was 6" dia.

 

Last I heard you had to do some major cutting to make it fit.
