Drivers side pillar grab handle

We have an awesome 4 inch lift on our 06 hummer and at 6’2” I have no problem jumping up in the driver seat. Problem is my wife also loves the hummer and has all but taken it from me permanently ( often leaving me with the Scion XB😬) problem is She is only 5’7” and can barely get up and it has anyone ever installed a grab handle on the inside a pillar driver side? I see there is one on the passenger side I am kind of handy and could do a modification if one exists

I wouldn't mess with the 'A' pillar area. There's an airbag behind it.

Maybe not. Side Curtin Air Bags were an option in 06.

It may be easier to mirror the passenger side and go with a handle above the door, rather than on the A pillar.
