Driver Window and Door Locks ????

Driver window and electric door locks are intermittant. 2006 H3. This appears to be a common problem. Does anyone have the answer. My problem is that sometimes they work and sometimes they don't.

Additionally, my radio clock resets to 1200 every time I start the car, and one time the car wouldn't start at all, in which case there was no power to anything (interior lights, etc.), then 10 minutes later everything worked.

I hate to say it because I really like the styling and ride of my H3, but are electrical problems part of the deal with 2006 H3s? If they are I may have to trade my hummer in. Help!

could start with batt connectors. unhook, clean, touch together, then reconnect securely. they must be tight.

others will follow

Appreciate the response. I'll try it and get back to you. In the mean time, do you know which CB is associated with the radio?

I have been having the same problem off and on this winter. I also have a 2006 H3, with 128k miles. When it happens to me, the battery is dead and I have to jump it to start it. Then I have to reset the clock, and the TPM goes out of sync as well.

My symptoms are that the driver-side front window does not work, and none of the locks work. Eventually they start working again, which makes me think that either something gets frozen or wet, and doesn't work again until it melts or dries out.

It always happens first thing in the morning, and usually after the truck has sat for 24+ hours. I'm wondering if something is shorting, and therefore draining the battery?

It doesn't sound like a fuse, but maybe something in the door? Or are there some components for the locks and windows someplace else? Under the dash? Anybody have any ideas?

Thanks,
-Alan
