Anyone else drag race? im in jersey .. I race 10.0 index at cecil and atco with my 91 mustang sbf all motor ... and my street car is a 69 Camaro .. 500ci with a 8-71 dyers blower ... what do you have? where do you race?

I still drag race some...not as much as I would like though. Mostly I race at Carolina Dragway aka "The House of Hook". Lately I have started doing a little Autox. My ride is a highly modded GMC Syclone that I bought new in 1991.

 

those syclone and typhoons are expensive .. guy around my way has one .. he kept the 6 cyl. for a while.. recently swaped for a LQ4 with a 88mm .. bad *** trucks!

I used to back 1995-97. I had an 85 mustang lx that I swapped a heavily built 351 Cleveland into. It ran 10.80s at 130 on the motor. 9.60 at just under 150 with a 300 shot of nitrous. I trailered it around all over the South drag racing. It was loads of fun and a great time in my life. The 1st wife was all into it as well. We had an 85 Mercury Capri RS Turbo that I had dumped lots of money into. Every thing Tiny Avenger Motorsports Sold I bought. We actually had that little 4 running 12 flat in the 1/4 and then turn the boost down and get 32 mpgs on the interstate.

I miss it but will probably never do it again. Been there done that kinda thing.

Nice Mustang you have there. I have had several. Just gave my 2011 5.0 to my oldest daughter. It kills me because she skip shifts 1st to 4th all the time.LOL!!!

 

ahahaha that's awesome Robert may.. its funny that you had a Cleveland in it... now a days nobody runs the clevers.. its all Windsor's.. I have a 414ci all motor.. stock 69 block "351w" with vic jr heads... have many hours and $$$ in the heads to make the power ... im doing a 460 bbf stroker in another year or two... but ill spend the money on the Kaase Heads for it when I do! lol you should pick up a lil beater and bracket race...!!! don't matter is you run 18's or 8's
