Down a tire and now just...down...
Ok, so I was driving home from work and noticed that my H3 was a bit lower on the drivers side. After my recent tire trouble (rear passanger tire blew out last week) I figured that it was possible that a front tire was now low. But when I checked the tires they were fine (affirms the shop saying that they were is great condition). What I noticed was that the distance from the top of my drivers side tire was closer to the bottom of wheel well than the passangers side. I don't go off road, highway miles mostly, only 30,100 miles on my 07.
Anyone have any idea on what this might be or what may have caused it? |
not sure what to tell you, my truck sat low on the drivers front for ever, till i leveled it out. then had to level it again after a year. i just set it all again after installing new tires and shocks. time will tell. but it rides nice now.

? who knows?
i had a turn break on a coil spring on another car once.
could the torsion adjust be off or could it fix it? does the back seem ok or better? i have NEVER worked on my h3,yet but i would look it over and if nothing seems broken, i would tweak it up with the adjuster. jusy some thots! tom |
Thanks guys for the replys. The back was fine as was the front passanger. It was like just the drivers side front that was down. I had a garage look at it and they got it straightened up. They said the alignment was off and that something happened with the suspension to create the gap difference. It was a couple hours and done. I was fearing shocks, strutts, or springs being bad, but after only 30,000 miles I was hoping it wasn't those.
