What about the hood it looks like it rest on it.
When driving could it dent it.

 

How do you reach inside your engine compartment?
Seems that when it's up, there is a gap keeping you from reaching the grill.

 

My dealer has one with this installed. It looks awesome and also comes with the hood handles and insert but that is because the guard bolts to those handles on top of the hood. In order to open the hood, you ahve to remove two bolts. If you get one, you better keep a tool kit in the glove box or otherwise pray that you never have to pop the hood.

 

that looks wild.... but I dont think its $2,800 wild though..

 

Personally..It looks okay..But I think it's really impractical and a little on the overkill side.
