Do mud flaps help?
Just bought a 2010 H3 white. And every time it rains it get very dirty. My 07 Blue Slate never showed as much as the white. Both trucks have DuraTrac tires and seem a little wider than stock. So my question is, would the OEM mud flaps actually help or do h3's just kick off that much spray that it wouldn't matter.
May be a stupid question, but I don't want to spend the money if it won't help thanks |
Mudflaps just make the spay lower on the sides. Instead of up to your windows it stops just below the door handles. Some have installed fender flares which may help a litte more.

I run 35 inch Grabbers and I have flares with flaps and the spray is very small. I'm talking no real tail at all. With stock 32 inch and no flares or flaps the spray went all the way to the roof!

315s, Front Flaps and Rock Rails and there is not that much spray on the side of the rigs. Mud holes and pouring rain are a different story!

Just installed mud flaps awhile ago and easily reduced 50-60%.
