Default DLS to ALS??

Question for the people that are in the Know.

Just recently my auto light system stopped working and also when i use the key phob to lock the h3 only 1 tail light flashes???

Has anyone had similiar issues and if so any good idea's???

I'm Wondering if there is a sensor or a relay of some sort that would be dead.
Can't find anything in the manual.

Any help would be great!

Thanks

So I've tried to reset with removing the Neg lead on battery to see if a reset would work.

Nope that didn't help!

So next off to the fuse panel to see if anything is shorting out...

So next I found that there was a burn't light bulb on the drivers side rear. Changed bulb and still issues, when applying brakes light works, turn on left signal light works, then turn on Headlights and bulb doesn't work. Tested with test light and still issues, also checked fuse and they are good.

Good this be a Battery related issue causing a BCM issue???

Off to the dealer I guess.

Usaually the BCM voltage problem affects a whole system so it could be an issue on the auto light problem but I don't think it would mess w/ a single bulb. The auto light sensor is on the passenger side of the dash. it's a little diiferent on the T so I'm not sure but are the rear running lights a seperate bulb from the brake/turn bulb on the 3

Hey Thanks JGBB04 & drtom for the idea's, will check it out!!

On the H3 the brake/signal are the same bulb.

Hey pulled up to a window for the front to see what was going on in the front, well when you turn the light sw off the day to night it only has the runnig lamps on in the front, with the fog lights??

This looks like fun...will have to get a good drawing on the electrical to figure this one out before taking to dealer...

Thanks'

Will post any news...

Did you turn 1 click or 2, first click should be just running lights & fogs if those were turned on also, second click should add the head lights.

We have a similar issue with the rear right signal. The dash light indicator flashed rapidly indicating a bad bulb. Then it decided to work correctly on occasion. We noticed it when we had our Chev. dealer install the tow package. We picked up a new trailer and the right rear lights did not flash. After driving it for about ten miles, it started to work. Go figure????

Yes I did have a problem a couple of months ago with the right back bulb burning out.The signal would go so fast we thought that the H3 was telling me to hurry up and freakin turn...LOL

I have checked the light socket for the bulb and it's supper clean.

Yes the lights work as you say. 1 click and then the second click as you say.

Will be back, Appreciating all the helpful idea's.
