Ditch the roll over ads

These roll over ads are a serious annoyance. It drives me insane as I have a habit of moving my mouse to the outside of the screen before I type, it's just instinct. Invariably I roll over one of those stupid ads and boom focus changes and now I'm typing on an ad i really have no interest in to begin with. I know I can install ad block but I'm conflicted with dealing with the ads to support a site I really don't do much else to support and cutting them off from this support all together.

Pauldy, ads are a fact of life on forums. Forums need to make money to support themselves and the ads provide the revenue stream that keeps the lights on.

Did you read what I wrote? I don't have a problem with ads in general but when they are written using dhtml and have actions set that when you cross them with the mouse cursor then they jump out and fill up the entire screen that's when it's an over the top annoyance. It's a suggestion and that's why I posted it here.

I don't think I've seen that here yet...have you installed ad-blocker on your web browser?(i recommend google chrome for all web browsing activities)

They pop up on me and I find quite disturbing. One reason, none of the ads even apply to me!!!!!
