DDM tuning H.I.D. kit
 

for those of you that installed a DDM tuning H.I.D. kit, did you have to use a the $12.50 HID harness or was everything plug and play?

I have the ddm kit didnt have to do any special wiring mine was plug and play. The only issue you may have to get h13 bulb harnesses cause sometimes the kits just have the leads and not the plug in part of the bulb connector.Thats a issue across the board because the h13 bulb is still under patent I believe, so some companies aren't making the connector for the kit. Its not a big deal I got the harnesses on amazon if I remember right and you just solder the plugs to the wires in the kit.

I purchased the ddm slim kit and when I plug I try to run it plug and play the light just flicker. and I bought the correct harness for h13 bulbs off ebay ( I had to plug the harness in backwards because of the polarity)

^ I forgot to mention my ddm kit is a low beam only kit not sure if that makes a difference on why the lights just flash on and off

Did the kit come with a harness which included some kind of resistor? Sounds like you are having voltage issues.
