Dashboard light
Hello. I just purchased a 2003 H2 and still can't stop looking at it through the window!
The only issue with the truck is that the left portion of the speedometer doesn't seem to be lighting up. I'm hoping that this must be a simple fix - pop off the dashboard and replace the lamp behind the speedo. Has anyone removed the dashboard and is this going to be an easy fix, or should I bring it in to a dealer? Thanks, Scooter_911 |

Welcome to the forums...................As for your question, I can't say for sure if they are bulbs or led's. Someone here will know;)

Thanks! That picture was supposed to be of us smiling for the camera - but trying to get a two year old to sit still and look at the camera is impossible!!! lol
She does love the truck though!! Scooter_911 |

Nice ride....
BTW... these kit instructions kinda half answer your questions on how to get it apart.... http://www.griptuning.com/ImgApp/install/0000000117.pdf |
RE: Dashboard light
Thanks for the pdf file!! It looks like I might be in fear of knocking out the calibration of my gauges if I attempt to replace the bulb/led... I think that this needs a little more research before I pop the cluster out because I could end up needing to take it to the dealer if I do actually mess up the calibration!
