I broke the corner rear Marker light while backing into the garage. The door wasn't all the up for some reason. I posted a wanted ad in the classified hoping maybe some had some stock lens laying around after switching to smoke or clear.

 

Look on the bright side. Replacing a lens a lot cheaper than doing body work.

 

Yep, could of been worse. My aunt did the same thing in her H2 but as she backed out of the garage she took the entire garage door with her..and for some reason didnt stop until she was in the driveway with the garage door laying on the roof of the truck..

 

Was backing out of the garage yesterday after a decent snow fall....about 8". Well the cross bars are within an inch of the top of my garage jam. As Im backing out I feel the rear tires start into the fresh, wet snow. The rear end starts to rise as the snow packs down to about 2"...I quickly hit the brakes, put her in park and check the clearance.....there was ZERO! I was within an 1/8" of hitting...thank goodness I remembered...


had to shovel an area in front of the door to keep from hitting!

 

At least you remembered.

 

Yeah I am glad it didn't hurt the paint and just broke the lens. I wasnt expecting a new lens to cost $80 tho'
