Anybody here decide to go with a custom built exhaust for there H3? There is a really good automotive place here in chicago and they specialize in Headers/exhaust systems and I am thinking about doing it, but if its not worth it I wont.. Let me know

 

What kind of warranty would you get. A header won't get you a significant boost in TQ, and whatever HP you get will be up high in the RPM band. If they know what they are doing, look at a high flow CAT, and free flowing system from there back?

It is pretty hard to beat a prefabbed CAT back system at price and warranty, but it certainly can be done.

 

maybe I will stick with the prefabbed exhaust because your right I dont want to take a chance on messing up the ride....
