Default Custom Engine Cover

I did not like the look of my engine after removing the air intake baffle thingy so I knocked this up on the weekend, 1.5mm galvanised plate with carbon wrap and my RSR logo, I may finish it off by painting the front of the rocker cover red.
Let me know what you think.

VERY VERY NICE!!! Could you show more on how you made it and how it mounts? This looks like it could help with the problem when member cut out holes in the hood and water doesn't sit on the coils.

Here is a drawing of what I made, you can make it longer to cover the whole rocker cover if you wish, there is an unused bolt hole in the top of the rocker cover for the top bolt I used a spacer tube so you can tighten the bolt without crushing the cover, the other bolt hole is above the No3 cylinder welsh plug, there is a small earth strap just in front of it. I fitted a rubber around the edge to give it a factory look and dressed it up with carbon wrap as I'm a fussy bastard.
The sizes on this drawing are approximate, you need to bend a curve across the top to match the contour of the original cover and to clear the plugs on the coil packs.
Cheers Stubbsy

Actually, you need to avoid digging up TEN YEAR OLD THREADS to tack on your "comment." It's called Necro-Bumping and people will be pointing and laughing at you for your lack of decorum Thurston....... er um, Kevin.
