cross country in 07 hummer adventure pkge
Well, I just got back from a 5500 mile round trip cross country, mostly on interstate 40. California to South Carolina & back. Hummer performed like a dream. Mileage varied from 16.5 to 19.1. I got 16.5 in heavy construction areas, country roads with lots of small towns, and/or high head winds. I got 18 and 19 on different stretches that I could cruise at 70 using my cruise control, ( Flagstaff Az to Amarillo Texas for example)One thingI found really strange on the trip is that in the whole 5500 mile trip I saw only 2 other Hummer 3s, and 3 Hummer 2s. ( except for locally in Southern California ) Made me wonder where all you folks are!

I took my H3 for a spin yesterday just to verify it's fuel economy... Usually I get 14.5 -15 MPG - 50/50 highway/streets and highways are usually congested. Yesterday I got 18.98MPG with 90/10 highway/streets at 65MPH avg. speed. Not bad... |
