with only 64 miles the serv temp shouldnt have gone on !!!! the colloant level in res is i think in middel: half the resevior is full.?

The level sounds about normal...Better have the dealer check it out...they had better send a flatbed to haul it in...cuz, you don't want to be driving it and it overheat on you.
