Default Control arms or ball joints

I got a sort of front end noises . When stop . Turn . Accelerate. You name it

The shop told me the tie rod and ball joints are shot

I replaced the tie rod only .
Will now do the ball joint but I'm debating if should replace the control arms too as the BJ comes installed already .. looking at moog . What brand are suggested
If so should both upper and lower be replaced . I don't off-road

Is this a DYI job

I'm also planning to change the CV shafts . What's a good brand

Ball joints are not a very fun DIY job. I would let a front end shop replace them with Moog ball joints and do an alignment after it's done. Are you CV axles bad?

Unless the CV boots are torn they should be good. I'm debating this exact same thing. I replaced my tie rods (which were shot) with the Xtreme Duty ones from Dmax store but my bushings in my controls arms are a little cracked.

I can't decide to replace the bushings or just the entire control arm. I found new control arms from Detroit Axle for $60. I'd rather go all polyurethane and not worry about the damn things drying out and cracking though.

The boots are in good shape but I'm hearing a click.when turn . Not sure if it s coming from the axle or the ball joints .
Because I think once the axle are replaced new alignment is needed I rather to do all at once . Same with the arms
Is Detroit a good brand or you pick random

Tux

No idea, they popped up on Amazon when I was searching a few weeks ago. Dirt cheap so who knows.

Calif ... I replaced the BJ in my Honda and was very fun job .. Around 5 hr trying to figure out how to use the press . Very scare when the BJ pops . Sound like a bomb
Lol
That's why I was thinking in change the Control arms to moog which comes with the BJ installed

Hey Miami,

Not sure about the brand, I started with "Pro-forged" so I am staying with that as I continue replacing parts. For me, it's time consuming, so I went with the shop for this.

One thing that really helped me was replacing every bushing I could find. I have an 06 and they were beat. Next will be the anti sway bars front and back.
