Console Lid

I let the console lid flop over and it fell off. The hinge broke away from the plastic lid liner. Can I replace just the lid liner? Anyone know where to get one?

Thanks

Console

Center console lid assembly part # 89042128 (ebony) or 88986340 (wheat). The hinge is part # 88986339. There is no part number for the liner or underside of the lid.

Pricey!!

The exact same scenario happened to me. After checking out the online OEM parts suppliers I decided I am not going to spend the $300+ for a new center console lid. Anyone know of a good used parts supplier that might have these or is it time to start doing some home engineering?

Try going through the junk yards. I have used them before. They will be @ half the price of new if not more.... sometimes less. If you can find a pick and pull would be great. Either way, it will take time and effort to get it cheaper..... Sometimes it's just easier to order $ parts from the dealer. I wouldn't though.......

Thanks for the suggestion. I thought about the junk yards. But the problem I have is there arent that many H2s running around Fairbanks, AK let alone dead ones that went to a junk yard to be parted out. The next closest (bigger) city is Anchorage, 360 miles away. It's possible I might find something there. Never hurts to call around I guess.

Assuming you meant $40000: I'll trade you my console lid for yours and then you'll have a $39500 truck. It's only a 1.25% loss... :D
