Cold leather in the am is not fun....
2004 H2 - So my front seat heaters stopped working..... hit the on switch and a relay clicks under drivers seat then turns off (lights go out)..... did some research here is what I found... the heater element is sewn into the seat cushions, both front seats are on the same circuit, you can pull the green connectors under the cushions apart to measure resistance in the heater element - in my case the bad one had open circuit (Drivers side) for now I placed a jumper wire to close the circuit and the passenger side works (wife is happy)
NOTE: not safe to select the jumped side as im sure it will short out - so if you use this rig to get one side working make sure to tape or mark the jumped side as DO NOT USE now any one know where to get new cushions? :( |
let the wife drive

They sell a heated seat that straps on to your leather seat and plugs in the cigg. lighter, it also has a Vibrator...........
you can also take it to a Trim shop and they would make a New leather seat w/heater installed, or find a new seat or used seat for your H2 truck.............. |
