clicking noise/feeling in brake pedal
 

hi guys I bought a h3 2 weeks ago.when I test drove it the pedal seemed fine.apon pickup the brake pedal would click when pressed but u can feel movement in it.ive searched under the car and looks to be some slight movement near the pin where the spring is on top.has anyone else has this issue and fixed it.ive spent 3 hours on google searching cant find anything.thanks in advance

Might be stiction in the steering column. Sounds crazy, but its true. Press on brakes and front end dives, steering slides up-down in the coupler and "clunk".

sorry for posting the question but im at my witts end.ive narrowed it down to the shaft where the big spring is on top of the ped it has the slightest bit of movement when the brake is pressed and I don't see any adjustments or anything :-(

I think you are talking about the return spring around the shaft. Sometimes mine will feel like it is slightly binding and you feel a release sensation and hear a little pop. I occasionally spray a little lubricant on the shaft and spring and it goes away for a while.
