Hi all,
How accurate is the change oil light? The manual states that it isn't based on mileage. Do you all follow this light for oil changes? I had my oil changed at 4000 miles and now the light flashes at 7500, any validity to this?

Doesn't sound right!!! my light comes on at about 9000 miles, and based on the first year that I had Onstar email reports, 9000 is pretty accurate.
