Change mirror temperature from F to C?
 

Hi everyone,

My H3 is Florida-born and the rear-view mirror's temperature is displayed in farenheit, but I live in Canada. Is there any way to change this reading to celcius? I can't find any buttons or anything on the mirror other than OnStar.

Ryan, the easy way is to move south about 300 miles. Then your mirror will be correct. If that doesn't work, try looking in the owners manual. I think it is done through the radio. If I'm wrong, it will soon be evident.

Push the on/off button (button furthest to left) until it turns to C. 3pushescycles it through F, C and Off. I live in Texas and just like having the temp on C, especially when co-workers ride with me.

Now I just tried that with my H3 which is from the U.S. and now resides in Canada and it will NOT change to Celcius.......darn!

Mine is an 06 so maybe you're good... either that or I somehow got the Maple Leaf version inserted into Texas...

Mine is an 07. But you would think all the mirrors would be the same?

hey mine is a new yorker originally now its a purebred "HICK" from the north in canada. i had that "f" when i first got'er and had to press the button with the circle with a small line in it a few times to switch it over to what i understand for temperature readings[sm=smiley2.gif]

Just tried this and it works!

For future reference, you need to push the on/off button for about 3-4 seconds until the F flashes, then press it again once and the C will flash, then just leave it and it will change to Celcius.
