CB Radio

Anyone got good ideas/advice on where to mount a CB radio inside the cab?

I've got a Cobra 79. Everything's on the mic.

There's not really many places to put a conventional CB in a H3. Some guys mount theirs against the side of the center hump, on the passanger's side. Some guys just mount it on top of the dash.

Cobra 75 here! Mounted the small "black box" under the dash and the "mic" is mounted between the steerign wheel and the center radio/4x4/HVAC stack. I'll find the pix and post'em up.

Great SMALL unit that takes up almost no room. Looks just like Bungers.

I'd x3 the little Cobra... I think people I wheel with are using that in H2's and H3's 3-1 over a fullsize radio.

If you only need it to talk to others on a trail, I would go with the Little Guy as well. That seems to be the radio of choice amongst our group. They are reliable and small so you can fit it

I have a Cobra 29 LTD classic and I love it. Out of the box, it sounds great and transmits very well too! I made it 100% removable so I can take it out if I need to. It stays in my truck all the time though. I drive the highway every day to and from work. I scan 1-9 to catch any traps that may be set up along the way.

Here is my unit. It's mounted on a flexible arm connected to a passenger seat bolt.

Way to keep the radio at your finger tips! Impressive!

SaltFlyr: Either you never have anyone riding shot gun or they like being stuck in the leg with the CB???? My passengers would not go for that, esp. when wheeling. That would hurt a lot.
