I'll echo what was said above regarding warranty's.
It's a gamble if something major is going to happen to your vehicle but I just don't believe in extended warranty's. You will have to fight for every claim.
I put a little aside each month just to cover vehicle maintanace and DON'T touch it for anything else.
Also, a Dealer is the LAST place that I would take my truck for service. Find a good independent mechanic and you will get things done for a fair price.

 

Just make sure because it sounded pretty bad. I looked at 6 Hummers that day and that was the only one doing that. Otherwise I looked it over well and it was nice!!!! Yes used dealers are a little shady, not all though!! Well keep us posted after you take delivery....

 

Well, heres the latest info on my Hummer purchase, a few days prior to me picking it up, i decided to stop by the dealer to see how the minor repairs were progressing..

I was met by the salesman, who informed me that there was a problem with the truck, apparently while getting the truck ready for pickup, their mechanic discovered some strange welding of the frame, long story short, the dealer told me, he would feel very uncomfortable selling me the truck, and returned my deposit check to me..

I was heartbroken, but remembered a Hummer H2 SUT, that i previously checked out, at first i didn't like it, as i was worried about finding a spare wheel to match the wheels that were on it, they are aftermarket XD 22 inch Bomb wheels..

I went back to look at it again, and took down the wheel info, after finding out, that i can get another one, i had to have the truck...

Well today, I PICKED IT UP,, i am so happy with....

I have enclosed, some pictures of it..

Btw, i didn't get the extended warranty, i was allowed to bring it, to my own mechanic, who checked it out, and gave it a clean bill of health...

I forgot to mention, i paided 21, 995.00 for it, and it has just 100,802 miles on it...ithas Ebony leather interior, just gorgeous. ..

clean looking h2. we just got our second H3 on the 12th.

 

Really nice, like the colour way more than the other one. I originally wanted an sut. But my fishing rod wouldn't fit in the back so that was a deal breaker for me.

Good on the dealer of the first one you looked at. Not often they come forward end point out a bad deal for the buyer.

Btw. Those rims are good quality and not knock off crap.

Those wheels are crazy expensive, 350.00 each, BUT, the tires are 495.00 each, they are Nitto Trail Grappler size 325 50 22...I am sick just thinking about buying a set..

 

I'm not surprised. That's why I moved from 20s to 17s.
To give you an idea of why, 17" wheels + tires were the same price as the same tires for 20s, alone.
