Buying my first H2 Luxury- 2009 Worn Climate Control Button

Hi Guys - I'm headed to go look (and hopefully buy) my first 2009 H2 Luxury Hummer with 77,000 miles on it for about $45k tomorrow.

I have one question. It is starting to show some wear on the climate controls. I see this a lot on the 2008/2009 H2 Hummers. Are these button easily replaced or are they a part of the Climate Control where the entire face housing needs to be replaced. It's slight wear where you can start to see the green shading underneath the black and white buttons.

Any suggestions or input?

Thanks - and excited here but want it to look it's best.

Thanks!

G

You can go on eBAY and find adhesive kits to mask off those unsightly green worn areas on any GM vehicle. They paste on after a clean prep on the button. They don't cost much - about $10. Check it out. I have not seen any button replacements but not saying there aren't but I don't think they just pop off like some PC Keyboard. I replaced my automatic climate controller on my 04 for $237 as the right side knob LED was out as well as the LED for the RECIR was out also. Check yours as well..and Congratulations on your purchase!
