Default Buying an 03 H2

This will be my first hummer and I think I found a good deal..... 2003 with 90K miles for $15,000.
Got a couple of questions..... 1) Anything I should look out for in the 03 models, did they have issues? 2) I think she needs some meaner tires/wheels as you can see from the pics.....any suggestions and can she fit 35's stock?

im not sure what tires it can fit stock, but as far as issues go I don't know of anything that just the 2003 has, if it has air ride suspension in rear expect to have issues with that sooner or later, of course corner marker light in front leak water to inside (check carpets by where feet go to see if dry pull them up to see if rusted from leaking), do a forum search for h2 problems and you will find a lot on both these "issues" as well as whatever else a lot of us have dealt with, price is about right for miles etc good luck

stock tires are 35" on 17" wheels
I have a black 2003 with 90,000. So far have sealed all roof lights (leaked)
sealed a/c intake gasket under wiper cowl (leaked)
flushed out sunroof drains (leaked)

Those were my only problems so far. I changed my oil, diff fluid, trans case oil, flushed the tranny and brake fluid as soon as I got it.

Looks like a nice rig and that price seems great. GO for it!

Thanks guys. I'll head to the dealership and check out the leaks you all are talking about.

I would check the excessive wind noise. If possible, try to cruise 70-80mph to check if any excessive wind noise is there from front window shield area. Usually it is from loose plastic parts outside of the pillars.
