2006, H3 ,I replaced my rear tail lights and had a hard time getting the old assembly off. While pulling the assembly(tail lights ) off the plastic inserts broke( the ones that the pegs go in to attach the light assembly to the veh.Can I get new plastic insert anywhere. I tried gluing them but they keep popping out now.Please Help.

Try gene at gmpartshouse I did thebsame but used self taping screws on mine... Let me know how you make out...

 

What did you do?Drill holes in the plastic tail light assembly then drilled smaller holes in the H3? Then attached??

 

no, I just used the self tapping screws and went through the plastic housing into the main body of the 3... its not a perfect fix, that's why Im hoping you figure something else out or track down those clips...

 

Just contacted the local Hummer dealer and he's ordering the "retainer clips" for me. $3.50 a pop but glad I found them

 

when you get them let me know what the part numbers are.

 

ditto ... might be cool to have some spares.
