I am in love with the Sonoma Red on the '07 H3x and planning to purchasehowever Iwant my chrome to look like the H3 on display in Detroit at the autoshow (Black Chrome) not the shiny stuff.

I would prefer to order the Hummer as just the luxury package however in order to get the Sonoma Red I have to order the H3x package.
How can I convert all the shiny chrome to the black look, powders, bluing, plating?

Anyone know if these items will be available later this summer for purchase???

I've got black chrome wheels, they sure look good, better than regular chrome in my opinion.

Black chroming is a different process than regular chrome.

 

Nice wheels? Are those 22"'s. I think I can find some black chrome wheels online, how about the rest of the stuff: door handles, grill guard, etc??

 

Nice wheels! Where'd you get the black chrome wheels from? I agree that the black chrome looks better than straight chrome. Also, does anyone know where to get the black chrome side steps (nerf bar)?

on BFG AT's 305/55R20's. I bought them off a buddy who Reps American Eagle Wheels here in B.C.

They look great, and apparently resists pitting and corrosion better than regular chrome since the process of black chroming involves adding a few layers of clearcoat.

Watch out, they will be releasing other chrome colors such as blue chrome, red chrome, etc. in the year or so.

 

I Love the look of Black Chrome. SMA was making some for the H2 before they went BaNkRuPt!![:@]
