New shocks installed ... Install was easy , just 2 bolts X each one .. BTW you will need a deep 21 socket to remove the bolts on the back .

Installing the fronts I notice one spill a little of gas when I pushed and release . it happens twice ... Is that normal or should I replace that one ...

I havent drive it with the new shocks yet , I will do the test tomorrow ,

The OEM were all bad , in fact one spill fluid when removed ... I wasn't expecting to replace the shocks in a heavy duty offroad truck with only 75,000 miles .... Not good

I do a lot of shocks and struts at my shop here. You would be surprised how soon some of that oem stuff goes bad. most vehicles with Monroe's need replacement before 30,000 miles.

Do you know if the gas spill from one of the shocks is normal ( explained in previous post) ...

If there is moisture spilling from the shock then the seal is bad. If its a bilstein they will warranty it. there should be no/very little moisture around the shaft of the shock. sometimes you will get a very very minimal amount of oil around the shaft when they age, that is normal but anything more than a very light coating of oil is a blown shock.

There are soo many things that can cause that kind of noise. it even could have been the rubber bushing in the bottom of the old shock mount that was rotted causing the shock to move a little in the mount.
