Default Best way to layout info for help with a problem.

Got a pretty good endevor coming up to help a couple of people in need.
reading the forum looking i see info given and info left out and people that could help having tom ask for details.
led to thinking of the best way to format the request for help and what to include considering the problem and the age of the vehicle.
year
make
model (sub model ) ?
milage
length of time and miles owned vehicle
problem happen quickly or gradual
do anything to aggravate or mitigate problem
discripion of problem.
pictures with lines, circles and arrows and discriptions.
a few lines considering mechanical ability and tools available.
just trying to help those that can help me.
anything else i should include ?
tnx

I agree with these thoughts.

The problem is that many people come here from an inter web search for some problem they know nothing about and post up their question without actual "thought". Then when you ask a question about specifics they just keep on blabbering about this or that, the mechanic said, my friend said..... I have better things to do than help people that are too ignorant to help themselves.

You know, trying to explain how to replace an O2 sensor to a guy who owns no tools???? Just write a check/swipe a card, move along.
