Default Back Seat won't latch

I was checking out my H3T more thoroughly (had it for two weeks) when I realized that the driver side back seat back isn't latching.

It doesn't fall down while driving or anything like that, but it is a safety issue. I am going to take it in to the dealer tomorrow unless anyone knows of some simple reason that it may not be latching. Thanks.

Mine does it too. It seems that its just a tight fit. I hit mine where the latch is and it will latch sometimes, other times I have to sit in the seat.

Make sure the seat belt is flipped over to the front of the seat. If it is behind the seat it can prevent it from latching.

did you take the headrest out? if you did make sure you put it back in the right way. I noticed one day that mine would not latch then realized I had put the headrest in backwards. You can barely tell the difference when its in backwards until you try to latch the seat.

Thanks for the suggestions guys but it isn't the seatbelt or the headrest, I also tried sitting in it and I tried pushing/hitting it near the latch and neither worked. Guess this one is going to have to go to the dealer. I am starting to get a squeak when i take of from a stop that sounds like it might be the fan belt or idler pulley as well.

Just wondering about your squeak?... do you have manual or auto transmission?

Mine is manual as well and I also have the squeak. I thought maybe it was the throw bearing or something to do with the clutch. Took it in and they found nothing. It seems to come and go and also depends on how quickly I take off from a stop.
let me now if your dealer finds anything.

thx

that describes my squeak exactly, I think it may be related to the clutch or the transmission because it does it only on takeoff or when i first let out the clutch. It seems like the sound is coming from up front though, more near the fan belt area.

Default Seat latch

I have the exact same problem with my H3T. What did the dealer do with your seat?
