Default ARB products for the H3

Hello all. Just snagged myself a very lightly used '06 H3 a couple days ago. Black, 5spd manual, BFG All terrains, 285/75/16.

Mine lacks the Adventure package so I just inquired with ARB about the availability of an air locker. ARB advised that they just received an H3 at their headquarters and will be offering an Air locker, front bumper, and suspension in the near future.

Sure thing. I was surprised not to find more chatter on ARB products for the H3.

I'll have to snap a pic shortly, haven't done that yet.

I inquired with ARB USA about a year ago and pretty much got the same response. They seem more interested in making products for Toyota and Nissan trucks than they do a hummer. I could be wrong but that was my impression. It does seem like they make a decent product.

With ARB being an Aussie manufacture and now GM is about to release the H3 here is Oz (Dealers waiting for there demo's any day now) you should see lot more H3 ARB accessories in time.

ARB imported an FJ and Tacoma at a huge cost to compete research & development. So I guess they will saving a few $$$ and buy a local H3 for R&D. Which if is the case it still will be another 6mths from when they get their H3 until you see any Bars and slider from them.

ARB bars are just a level above the rest as the look and finish is just that much better than the competition. I have ARB bars on my Patrol and Pathfinder and both are color match, looking awesome.

HummerMike - hopefully they're really going go ahead and get to work on them soon

Brett - That was the tone of the response. They now have an H3 so they can actually get started. Guess we'll see.

I just assumed there would be aftermarket selectable lockers available already for the H3 so didn't worry too much about not having the Adventure package. I was certainly surprised to find out this is not the case. Seems the aftermarket for H3's is still rather limited (except for chrome and billet pieces) .

Err,
The Eaton elocker is available for the H3 as it is what comes with the adventure package. Somewhere I have the part numbers.

Brett,
Nice name dropping. Just casually slipping it in there that you have a Patrol. You Aussies get all the cool vehicles.
