Anyone running 315/70/17 Goodyear Duratracs?

Looking for feedback from anyone running 315/70/17 Goodyear Duratrac tires on stock H2 17in wheels. I'm debating between these or BFG All Terrain T/A KO's.

My concerns are rubbing as the Goodyear is a 9.5in rim width with a 12.7 sectional width vs. the BFG is an 8.5" rim width and is a 12" sectional. I read somewhere that anything over 12.5" on an H2 could present rubbing issues up front. Diameter is about the same on both.

Any feedback from anybody who's running these or running the BFGs and how either compare to the stock BFG ATs?

the differences there are because these tires are mounted on different sized rims. If you put a tire on a wider wheel the section width is going to increase. So those figures that you have there mean....

The goodyear is 12.7 inches wide from sidewall to sidewall when mounted on a 9.5 in wide rim.

the bfg is 12 inches wide from sidewall to sidewall when mounted on a 8.5 inch rim.

if you swapped to bfg to the 9.5 in rim the dimensions will be almost identical. theoretically they are identical but due to differences between the manufacturer (michelin and goodyear in this case) there might be slight differences in belt placement that could effect dimensions but they will be very minor.

any tire will get wider when you place it on a wider wheel.

section width = widest part of tire
tread width = width of tire tread
big difference between these two measurement.
the wider the rim = the bigger the section width but your tread width doesnt change.

I am running the Duratracs and love them! The problem with the T/A KO's is that they tend to pack snow and don't have the side channels to clean themselves out... The Duratracs are really quiet, handle well in the snow (I am in Colorado) and basically rock looks-wise. Highly recommend.

I have put my first 500 miles on some nitto terra grapplers 325/70/17 so just a little wider

like them very much.
