Anyone have a pic of H2 with plastic dip factory wheels?
Have a pewter 03 H2 and thinking about plastic dipping the rims black? Would be awesome if anyone has pics similar to this? Thanks

Thanks man. Good looking wheels! I like them. Just curious why did you lose the center caps?

I have had mine plasti dipped for years. Have to fix them after offroading sometimes but it's super easy.

Now that I think about it, those were after I ripped the plasti dip off and painted them with Dupli Color Engine Enamel in low semi gloss black. Plasti dip wouldn't hold up well enough for my liking. I lost the center caps and put extended lugs and painted the center hubs black just to give it a different look. I think it looked much better without the caps. |

Thanks guys. Think I will try mine out and see if I like it. Good thing about plastic dip is if I don't like it supposedly I can just peel it off.

Its great stuff if you want to see how black looks on something. As for durability I don't care for it. I used it to see how black wheels would look before properly prepping my wheels and painting them as I mentioned above. The paint I talked about is highly durable and has a very nice matte black with just enough sheen to make it easily cleanable. Obviously now I have aftermarket Teflon coated wheels in black though.
