Anyone buy from Texas Auto Direct??
 

Once I finish prepping my 02 Explorer Sport Track I am listing her for sale. Although she has 150k miles ....I am the original owner, always kept her well maintained and consider her absolutely mint. I'm hoping to get close to Kelly Book top....$7000-7500.
Anyway I have been surfing every site I can find to see what's out there. I'm pretty Set on what I want. A Burghendy H2 SUT. I came across an internet specialty dealer called Texas Auto Direct. They have a pretty extensive inventory of vehicles which look as if they were well cared for and maintained . They have a dozen or so H2's both Regular and SUT models. Anyone out there have any info,experience or opinions on this Dealership?? They list primarily on EBay but have a website as well.

I don't know anyone that has bought from them but I know a few people that have looked at vehicles at their facility. Those particular vehicles were a little rougher than hoped and no deal was made. The sales people did not know much about Hummers. I have no idea how they are to deal with in an actual transaction.

IIRC, they don't have the best customer feedback regarding vehicle condition. Seem to recall that they promote you flying in, shuttled from airport and driving off in the vehicle; basically buying it sight unseen over the internet with a deposit already paid to hold the vehicle. Risky at best and worse with theese guys.

I have read many reviews...some were bad....mostly customer service issues like salesmen not returning phone calls or something .....but relative to the amount they sell four or five poor reviews isn't too bad. I'm hoping to locate one with 200 miles but if I have to travel it will have to be an awesome deal.

I almost bought an H2 from them 4 yrs ago. They were ready to ship the truck and I canceled the order. I changed my mind because the truck had no nav and no sunroof. They tried to bully me saying the truck was already on the cargo truck for shipment. I told them if they ship it I will not sign for it. They canceled the order and was fine with it. Their prices seem a little high, prob 2k higher than what it supposed to be.
