Anyboy ever seen a HUMMER with over 100K?

Well, it didn't take long (26 months), but my 07 H3 will roll over 100K this week. Seems just yesterday it was all new on the show room floor. My questions are: Has anyone ever seen a HUMMER H3 with over 100K on it?? What is the longivity expectation of a well-cared-for 3.7l engine?? What parts should I be looking to start wearing out now that it has 100K on it?? And lastly, how long will these factory brakes last?? Still cant believe they are still in good shape after 100K.

are you going to take some video of it when it starts to turn over to 100K?

Hello,
mine is at 113k miles, it's a 06 with the 3,5 liter engine and still no problems.

in my heart, a ford man, but

4 yrs ago i bought a 95 "plastic pontiac" transporte with 123k, 3.8 PUSHROD ENGINE now 145k. thats OLD technology.

i expect these things, with oil changes to go,???? forever!!

and even my son, a 3000 mi oil change man says "just follow instructions", you can go 5000+
on changes.

its probably the arabs who pushed the 3000 mi change!!!

soooo use rust reventer/stopper and follow the book.

btw i already have been under my h307 with a brush and "ruststop" i noticed lite rust at most welds, AND on both driveshafts, but i supose the shafts will go 20 yrs anyway.

DRIVE ON HUMMERMEN

Thanks for your comments!! Today is the big day. Sitting at 99972; have the bottle of bubbly chilling in the back seat for the big event. You got to love the Risk Manager/Workers' Comp guy who plans on tipping the bottle on the way to court, right??

So did you pop it on the way to work?

So what have you had to do maintenance wise over the 100k miles?

Still haven't replaced the brakes? I take it you do a lot of highway driving with little braking?

A guy at work showed up three - four weeks ago with a good looking hummer, so I went over to ck it out and congrat him for joining the club. He said looking at mine in the parking lot every day made up his mind. He bought an 06 with 123,000 miles on it. It looks in excellent shape and he said it runs great, already had it in the mud and all the 4wd worded flawlessly, doesn't smoke, runs strong and other than the mileage its like a new one. He said the guy he bought it from drove from Longview Tx. to Shreveport La. everyday to work. All highway miles and had all the records for every Oil change and thing every done to it. The only thing my buddy has done since he bought it was add tires and new brake pads. Hope mine last forever, i'm at 40k with an 06...

I have just over 160,000 on my 06.Other than a few stains on the seat it's perfect.I just checked the brakes about a 1000 miles ago and have about 20% left.I'll be replacing them on the next oil change not bad for original brakes.
