11 DAYS????????? |
RE: Any problems with front windshield?
Yes sir, 11 days. it took that long because they couldnt get the problem repaired. On the 4th day they called me and told me it would be ready later that day but I never got a call back, 10 days later we were told it was still being repaired because when they tested it there was another water leak. That would have technically made it 5 times in the dealer for the same thing all within my first month and 1/2 of owning it.

Rattling/flapping noise coming from the windshield area
Well, I just picked-up our H2 from the dealer a little while ago. Monday night, I experienced driving our H2 on the freeway for the very first time and just couldn't believe the horrendous rattling noise which appeared to be coming from the windshield area. The dealer R&R'd both outside pillar post covers, added some 3M automotive adhesive, and voila...problem rectified. [sm=happy046.gif]

I have the exact same problem. Can you attempt to describe in more detail what the dealer did? Is the 3m adhesive a tape or a glue? Did he put the adhesive between the glass and the pilar cover in order to hold the cover down, or to absorb the vibration between the cover and the glass? Any more information would be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks |
RE: Any problems with front windshield?
Been lurking for 2 1/2 years and this my first post. I thought the horrific wind noise was standard equipment thanks to the aerodynamics of the H2. Do you mean it's not supposed to sound that way? Seriously, I've always attributed it to the vertical windshield and the way the doors fit the body above the beltline. The wind noise in mine is bad at freeway speeds in warm weather and absolutelyunbearable in the winter. I love my H2, but the noise is bothering me so much anymore I'm considering getting rid of it. Is this a problem or does everyone experience this?
