Grew up in NC. Spent some time in Greenville and worked a PGV for a bit. Piggyville! No where near there now. Hope you have some luck finding someone near you to go riding with.

My hubby and I purchased property in Palmlico County (merrit nc) a few years ago, Looking forward to retiring there in about 5 years. We just bought an H3X and are looking to offroad down in NC. We presently live Full time inNJ. Let me know if we are close and maybe we can hook up next time we're down. We go down south at least 4 times a year. We are boater also.

Your welcome to come up to the Boone area ( Appalachian State). We have a mountain place up there and there are some great places to go off roading.
The pic below wasmy Suburban just after a cloud had frozen on the trees and it was -40 the night before with the wind chill. This was taken just above Hounds Ear Golf Course.

Seafire1 let me know and I might be up for trading places for the weekend. We have a two bedroom house that can sleep around 7-8 people.
I use to go down to the New Bern area a lot. I was dating a girl whos parents had a 40 foot Hunter. Like the sailboats better than power boats. The storms down there are pretty amazing to watch. Lightning strikes every where.
