Any ideas on how to repair Nav Disc

Anybody have some good home remidies on how to repair a scratched Nav disc. I have tried several types of buffing compound and scratch remover, nothing has worked so far. When the disc is inserted into nav head unit it just says CD Error.

Any help would be great...

This worked for mine....

Brasso brass polish- get the deep scratches out with this on a cotton rag. Than get "Mothers" plastic parts polish at an auto parts store (used for polishing plastic lenses such as taili lights and headlamps) and use this to get the brasso mico scratches out.. I had a disc that could not be read and this worked like a charm...

I would never use ArmorAll.... This will leave a coating on the disc that could get the laser dirty on the reader.......

maybe it is time for you to replaced your Nav disk so that it'll not able to bother you again in the same problem.
